Lowell School District is a small school district of approximately 300 students located about fifteen miles southeast of the Eugene/Springfield area. The city of Lowell is home to just over 1,000 people, many of whom work in the nearby metropolitan area. Lowell also serves students residing the Fall Creek area, approximately 5-10 miles away (depending on the actual location of the residence) from Lowell city limits. There are two school sites: Lundy Elementary (grades K-6) and Lowell High School (grades 7-12). Lundy Elementary serves about 170 of the district’s 300 students. 100% of the teachers and full time instructional assistants at Lundy Elementary are Highly Qualified. We staff seven full time and one half time classroom teachers (one teacher at each grade level), one Title I teacher, two Title I assistants, one half-time general education assistant, one Special Education teacher and three Special Education assistants. There is one administrator, one secretary and one custodian in each of our building. We offer programs in Title I, Special Education, ELL and RTI. Lowell School District believes every student can achieve and commits to achieving educational excellence through pride, communication and respect for all in a fun and safe environment. |
